Raymah Lucile Camp, 96, of Pollock, Missouri passed away April 9, 2018 at the Long Term Care in Milan, Missouri.
Lucile was born in Pollock, Missouri to Roy and Winnie Rodgers Smith on October 17, 1921. She graduated in 1939 from Pollock High School. Lucile married Bernard Oreldean Camp on October 17, 1939 in Pollock, Missouri.
Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on June 18, 2007, one son, Marvin Camp on July 23, 2016, and three sisters, Merril Morley, Opal Schoonover and Doris Jean Camp. Also she was preceded by a brother, Dean Smith.
She is survived by three sons, Raymond and wife Carolyn Camp of Des Moines, Iowa, Ron and wife Barbara of Green City, Missouri and Keith and wife Jeannine of New Carlisle, Ohio, one daughter in law, Dellois Camp, 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Lucile was a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She cared and nursed her husband through a long illness, always giving her all. She was a great cook, loved making quilts for her children and grandchildren and enjoyed gardening. She liked embroidering and putting puzzles together until her eyes and hands didn’t work so well. She also enjoyed writing poetry.
Lucile was a member of the Church Of Christ in Pollock, Missouri and loved and followed Jesus Christ her Savior all of the years of her life.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Schoene Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan, Missouri. Burial will follow at the Scobee Cemetery in Pollock. A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home.
