October 17, 1984 ~ June 4, 2019 (age 34)

Heidi Nicole Hunsaker

October 17, 1984 – June 4, 2019

Heidi was born to Paula Jefferson and Joseph Kit Hunsaker of Milan, Missouri on October 17, 1984. Surviving her is one son, Gage Hanson of the home; her mother, Paula Jefferson and Steve Wood of Milan. She is also survived by a sister, Shayla Gerlt of Browning, Missouri and one brother, Luke Hunsaker of Browning;  a special friend, Steve Gooch of Milan; two aunts, Belinda Trenter of Milan and Sebrena Gordon of Milan; one uncle, Bob Trenter of Milan; two nieces, Jaden and Alyssa Lester of Browning; two nephews, Marcus Hunsaker of Milan and Kylen Wilkinson of Arkansas; a grandfather, Larry Snelling of Oak Grove, Missouri and Grandpa Crow Helms of Milan; Cousins, Brandi Trenter of Milan, Brian Trenter and wife Cegi of Milan, and Robert Trenter and wife Lisa of Milan, Brad Frazier of Milan, and Cindy Brackeen of Oklahoma; and many other cousins, aunts, and an Uncle.

Heidi was preceded in death by her dad on June 3, 2000, and a grandmother, Cheryll Snelling on January 20, 2018.

Heidi was a lifelong resident of Milan. She loved listening to music, and hanging out with her sister, Shayla, her brother, Luke, and especially her son. She loved talking on the telephone with her friends and getting her nails done. She always liked to get dressed up in her favorite color pink, she’d have worn everything in pink if she could. Heidi always carried a big bright smile, unless you made her mad. (HA) You could always find her at Richardson’s Supermarket daily with her mom stopping by to speak with Brian and Roy in the meat department, and making her way to the Hot Deli to check out their special and visit with her Aunt Belinda.

We all have a lot of fond memories and laughs. One that sticks out in mind was, playing a joke and trying to super glue our grandmother’s false teeth with epoxy glue, we laughed so hard, we cried. Needless to say, Grandma wasn’t very happy, but we got a great kick out of doing it. Heidi loved life, and her son more then anything. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by a lot of people.

Funeral services for Heidi will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at White Oak Cemetery, South of Milan. A visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service, starting at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home.Memorials are suggested to go to her son, Gage's Education.
