Richard Lee (Rick) Cochran passed away Saturday, August 12th 2017 at his home after a brief illness.
Rick was born December 24th, 1964, at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan, Missouri, with the nurse in attendance being his aunt, Wanda Riddle. He was the son of Larry Quinn and Janis (Morris) Cochran. He was preceded in death by his father Quinn, paternal grandparents, Helen and Kenneth Cochran and maternal grandparents Dee and Mary Morris. He is succeeded by sons Chevy and Chase Cochran, his mother Janis Collins, his brother Kelly Cochran (Meagan), nieces Kelsie, Avery and Serenity and nephews Kyle, Quinn and James.
Rick grew up and attended school in Raytown, Missouri. After Hurricane Katrina he spent a few years in New Orleans helping rebuild neighborhoods devastated by the storm. Rick returned to Milan in 2010 to help in the care of his grandfather and oversee the care of the cattle on the farm. Rick enjoyed playing pool and was on leagues in Milan and Kirksville with several friends. He also enjoyed driving and showing off his Camaro and his pride and joy lifted Chevy truck.
A private celebration of life service will be held at a later time.
Donations may be made to the Owasco Cemetery Fund where three generations have participated in the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds.
