Charles Joseph Good
Charles Joseph Good, 76, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 4th, 2018, at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan.
Charles was born in Newton, Iowa on April 19, 1941, he married Kristine (Lindblom) Good on November 21, 2003 in Sullivan County, she survives him. Also surviving: a son, Tracy Good (Janet Nell) of Prairie City, Iowa; a step-son, Larry Rustan, Jr. of Milan; three grandchildren; cousins, Brenda Gannon of Newton, and Bill and Karen Good of Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles grew up in the Newton, Iowa area where he worked on the family farms. Along with farming, Charles worked for Maytag, managed Dennison-Partridge Lumber Yard, in Mingo, Iowa, worked at Mormon’s Feed, was a mail carrier for USPS, worked at Warren Frozen Foods, T. Marzetti, then retired and moved to the farm in Missouri and hayed. He also mowed and kept up the Lovell Cemetery. Charles loved hunting, fishing, and driving his White tractor.
Charles will be cremated and a private inurnment will be held at a later date at the Lovell Cemetery, North of Milan. Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Milan Elks Lodge or the Sullivan County Senior Center.
